meditationSumit Punnakari is a myelin expert and writer. He accidentally came across an audiobook titled “The Talent Code” by Daniel Coyle in February 2013 while he was in Afghanistan working for Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), which inspired him to study about myelin.

Previously, he read and listened to countless of books on success, genius and talent. He was a big fan of “10,000 hours rule” (mentioned in “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell). But after listening to “The Talent Code”, it’s clear to him that deep practice is the process which increase myelin in the brain and in return, accelerate the learning process. He devotes his life to the study and writing about myelin, and makes his 1,000 goals in life realities.
